PROJECTS - 2006-2008
Circa 2006
After a brief hiatus (over 3 years!), Beach House Attic Studios, Inc., produced its 4th album, Hard Ride, in 2006.
This album has 12 new original songs - some reflecting on the love I share with Sharon and how much she inspires me ("She's Alive", "On the Road I'm On", "Hard Ride", "I Just Can't Dance", and "Sweet Angel"), and some songs reflecting on our adult children (about great memories when they were so young, "Memories"; about Adam's haven on Maui and seeing his dream come true, "Haiku"; and about witnessing heartbreak & its aftermath, "You'll Heal in Time", "Line I Made Up").
I provided 4 songs off the album that you can sample, and listed the names of the other 8 songs included on the album.
Additional Songs:
He'll Always Be There (3:48)
Know That I Can Wait (5:04)

Circa 2006
Towards the end of 2006, Run With Me If You Can was recorded at Beach House Attic Studios, Inc. in Tacoma, WA. The last album, Hard Ride, was a great catalyst to start writing and composing again.
This 5th album by Dave Acosta has 11 new & original songs - some songs reflect on my relationship with my adult children after my divorce from my ex-wife (the one "X'd" out on the front cover - not Sharon!), some songs find me venturing into the political space ("I Know We're Right", and "Sister Moon, Brother Sun") , some found me rediscovering my Latino roots and experimenting ("Un Dia En Mi Vida", "Mi Tierra", and "Somos Cancun"), and some found me reflecting yet again on my adult children's heartbreak and trying to instill hope in them ("In Her Eyes"), e.g., not giving up on love...that it will sooner or later find you (like it did for their dad!).
I have provided 6 songs to sample, and listed the names of the other songs on the album below.
Additional Songs:
Un Dia En Mi Vida
Hear the Pride (5:55)
How Do You Feel About Love (4:56)
Watching You Sleep (3:40)
Sister Moon, Brother Sun (4:51)

Circa 2008
Another 2 year rest before producing this 6th album. Appropriately named, It's Been Awhile, this album contains 11 new and original songs written, composed, recorded, mixed and engineered at the Beach House Attic Studios, Inc. in Tacoma, WA. I have included 4 songs to sample and names of the other songs on the album.
This album found me experimenting with some of the sounds from other musicians that have influenced my writing and playing over the years. This project found me returning to my country rock music roots ("Bad Things Begin to Add Up" - mixed in some of my concerns about global warming; "She's a Wrong Way Sign" - mixed in some of the humor I find hidden in some country music themes; "This Angel Is Real" - channeling George Strait; "I Need to Be Thinking About Us" - channeling Keith Urban; "She's Beautiful to Me" - bringing on some Cajun-influence NOLA style; "Esperanza" - continuing with my Latino roots influence; "Fly Away" - channeling James Taylor; and lastly "Run Ricky Run" - channeling the Kinks.
Additional Songs:
Fly Away (3:40)
I Need to Be Thinking About Us (4:42)
Esperanza (3:23)
Bring Me Hope ( 5:29)
Don't Hold Me ( 6:10)
It Was You ( 4:24)
This Angel Is Real (4:32)
