It's been three long years since the COVID-19 pandemic took over and changed our lives. For those of us who were fortunate to have been able to work remotely from home it provided us with some time to take pause and reflect on how things used to be for us in the pre-COVID era, think about how things are different today, and imagine what things would be like post-COVID. 

My reflections brought me some new meaning to my life and to those centered in my life. It also gave me the opportunity to react to the world around me as a means of coping and finding the resilience and hope I needed to face the new challenges that this "new world" has brought forward. I recognize the privilege I have had during these times - that is, to have the time to pause and compose music - which was my way of coping with reality.
